Simply Dropdowns
Simply Dropdowns adds a Dropdown macro to Confluence Cloud. Use it for a status, a priority, the teams involved, or any list of options you need. Readers pick values right on the published page, with no need to open the editor.
Admins define the options once as dropdown sets, for the whole site or for a single space. Every dropdown that uses a set picks up changes to it automatically.
Try it
These are the app's real dropdowns, running on sample data. Pick a value: on a Confluence page, your choice would be saved into the page.

About the live demos
The demos in this documentation run the app's actual screens in your browser, on sample data. Nothing is sent anywhere. Changes are shared between the demos while this tab is open, and Reset demo restores the sample data.
Features
- Single- or multi-select dropdowns, inline in text and in tables.
- Coloured options: show options as coloured labels, e.g. Done in green and Blocked in red. Pick any colour; the text colour adjusts automatically.
- Default options are shown until someone makes a choice.
- Global sets for the whole site, managed by Confluence admins.
- Space sets for one space, managed by its space admins.
- Own options for a one-off dropdown that doesn't need a shared set.
- Selection saved in the page: it's still there after a reload, and copying the page or restoring an old version keeps it.
- Permission-aware: only people who can edit the page can change a selection.
Next steps
- Getting started: your first dropdown in three steps.
- Dropdown sets: create and manage the lists of options.
- The Dropdown macro: insert and configure dropdowns on pages.
- Permissions and data: who can do what, and where data is stored.
