Getting started
Once Simply Dropdowns is installed on your Confluence Cloud site, these three steps get you to your first dropdown.
1. Create a dropdown set
A dropdown set is a named list of options, such as Status with To do, In progress and Done.
- For the whole site (Confluence admins): go to Confluence settings → Dropdown sets.
- For one space (space admins): go to Space settings → Dropdown sets.
Select Create set, enter a name and one option per line, then select Save. See Dropdown sets for colours, defaults and multi-select.
2. Add a dropdown to a page
Edit a page, type /dropdown and choose Dropdown. In the macro editor, choose a dropdown set and, optionally, the option selected when the page is published. Then select Save.

3. Pick a value on the published page
Publish the page. Everyone who can edit the page can now change the dropdown right on the published page; everyone else sees the current value.
